Thank you for supporting us to feed, clothe and educate over 3000 children in 2024. Every victory, every positive report about H.O.W children is interrelated to your partnership with H.O.W. May you experience God’s unlimited grace in 2025.
2024 CHRISTMAS FOOD HAMPERS
We want to express our ultimate gratitude to every individual, church, business and organisation that supported us to provide food hampers for H.O.W children, during Christmas 2024. A total of 3,173 House of Wells children received Christmas food hampers in all our 36 ENRICHMENT CENTRES across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and Ghana in December 2024.
Compilation of all Hampers given out in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria & Ghana.
Across the seven countries, the content of the hampers varied but included Rice, Bread, Cereal, Baked Beans, Noodles, Crisps, Biscuits, soft drinks, among other food items. It is always a humbling experience, each year, when we give the children these food packs. The smiles on their faces and their excitement tell a remarkable story, and for some of them, it was their only Christmas gift.
Many parents expressed their utmost gratitude for the food packs that H.O.W gave to their children. A lot of these parents do not have an income, therefore the food hampers were of immense help for them to feed their children at Christmas. Various testimonies have been sent to us regarding the December 2024 Christmas Hampers. Some parents told us that they had nothing in the house to feed their children prior to the day that House of Wells gave out the food hampers.
Thank you HOUSE OF WELLS partners and donors for your heartfelt generosity in providing food to bless our children during this festive season. Thank you for following in the footsteps of the God who so loved that HE gave, thank you for loving our children and giving to them. May you be richly blessed for sharing Christ’s light and making a difference during a special time of celebration and giving.

TESTIMONIES RECEIVED THIS QUARTER
NADIA’s TESTIMONY – “I’m Nadia, I joined House of Wells when I was 9 years old. H.O.W took care of me at a time when there was a lot of instability in my family, and God changed my circumstances for good. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour when I joined H.O.W; and grew in His wisdom and knowledge.
I passed my grade 12 MATRIC exams in 2023, with 3 distinctions. I am currently studying Law at the University of Western Cape, where I completed and passed my first year with two distinctions. I’m looking forward to my 2nd year in 2025 by the grace of God. What I have learned at H.O.W keeps me on the right path because if you are not grounded in God at University, you can be led astray. I thank God for sending H.O.W to me and to thousands of other children and young people”.
FRASIA’s TESTIMONY – “My name is Frasia, and I’m thrilled to share the profound impact that House of Wells has had on my life. Since joining H.O.W in Walmer Primary School, I’ve experienced love, guidance and support. The teachings, mentorship and encouragement that I received during my High School years laid a solid foundation for my future.
One of the most significant ways House of Wells has blessed me was by supporting my education in various ways. In 2022, they helped me with my university tuition fees, which was a huge relief and enabled me to focus on my studies. The skills that I learned at H.O.W, such as effective communication and leadership, have been invaluable in my tertiary education. These skills have helped me to navigate challenges, build strong relationships and achieve academic success.
I’m proud to say that I’ll be graduating with my degree in May 2025. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been part of H.O.W, for the lessons that I learned there and the experiences I had. I’m reminded of Prov 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it”. H.O.W played a significant role in shaping me into the person I am today, and for that, I am eternally grateful.”
HOUSE OF WELLS TUITION CENTRES
**Veronica (17) joined H.O.W 11 years ago. The H.O.W Tuition Classes have been so beneficial to her, she was always ahead of the Maths lessons in her school because of how the topics were covered at the House of Wells Tuition Centre. Since she started attending the Tuition classes, she moved from level 1 in Mathematics to a Level 5 and has now been promoted to Grade 12. It is such an exemplary progress which led to her Maths portfolio being the only one selected by her school and sent to the Department of Education as a model.
**Keniya (17) has been with H.O.W since Primary school. She attends the H.O.W Tuition Classes in Kleinskool, which has helped to improve her grades exceptionally. She has been accepted at university, to study Law in 2025. Glory to God.
**Vinette (15) passed her end-of-year exams again, 2 years in a row, because of the support she received at the H.O.W Tuition Centre.
**Cassidy – There has been remarkable improvements in Cassidy’s grades all year round because of the support she has been receiving from the H.O.W Tuition Classes. She, therefore, passed her grade 11 exams and has been promoted to grade 12, her final year in High School.
NEWS & REPORTS from VARIOUS CENTRES – OCT. to DEC. 2024
ZIMBABWE –
TESTIMONY from Rebecca Mahachi: – “I am forever grateful to House of Wells for the incredible impact they’ve had on my life. Growing up in a poor background, I often felt like my dreams were out of reach. But thanks to House of Wells, I received yearly food packs that not only met my physical needs but also reminded me that I was seen and loved. The weekly Bible meetings were a game-changer for me. Through those meetings, I grew into a focused and determined young woman with a deep reverence of God. The teachings and mentorship I received helped shape my values and character, and I am so grateful for that.
Through the help from H.O.W, I passed my Advanced Level examinations with flying colours, qualifying me for a university degree. And to top it all off, I was awarded a full scholarship to pursue my degree in Human Resources Management! I am living proof that with the right support and guidance, anyone can achieve their dreams. House of Wells, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and investing in my future. May God continue to bless and expand your work!”
UGANDA *In our Lusaze Centre, one of our teenagers’ education was put on hold for a whole year because her mother was not able to afford her examination fees. People in their community were constantly asking why she did not do her finals exams. This aggravated her frustration, and she approached the House of Wells leaders, and we were able to assist her. By the grace of God, she has been able to do the exam and passed. If she had missed the opportunity to do the examinations in 2024, that would have meant two years out of school. The next thing for some young girls in such a situation would have been living a promiscuous life.
*In Busawula centre this quarter, some of our children received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and have been praying in tongues. We thank God for the tremendous spiritual growth among the children.
*At Mbogo centre: A parent sent her appreciation for the food hampers given to her children in December. She said they had no food at home before her children brought the food hampers home.

NIGERIA
* SHOMEFUN CENTRE – Four of our children sat for their SSCE/WAEC exams and had excellent results.
*One of our young girls was involved in an accident and needed surgery. We thank God who answered our prayers, the surgery was successful, and she has fully recovered remarkably.
SOUTH AFRICA
*We are grateful to God for all that He has done at our Centres. There are tremendous changes in the lives of our children and their parents also attested to this.
*We are thrilled to see many of our children promoted to secondary schools in December.
* Xenia (Kleinskool House of Wells) has been awarded scholarship to study at Nelson Mandela University.
MALAWI
*The number of children attending the Centre increases weekly, and we are so thankful to God for this. In June 2024, we had 50 children at the H.O.W Centre in Mpemba, and by December 2024 the number had increased to around 220. Most of these children and teenagers have now given their lives to Jesus, and not only do they now attend a local Church, they have also introduced their parents to Church.
GHANA
*The two children enrolled in school through H.O.W scholarships are performing well, as reflected in their report cards. Glory to God.

KENYA
*At our Lenana Center, we are witnessing significant spiritual growth among the teenagers. It is truly encouraging to see how God is working in their lives. Heaven is rejoicing over them.
*We are thankful to God that one of our teenagers who had stopped attending the H.O.W programmes has returned. The enemy tried to pull him away and into unwholesome association, but through prayer and God’s intervention, the Lord snatched him from the devil’s intention (Isa 49:24-25).
